This BBQ is suitable for being outdoors in full weather conditions, we always recommend a cover to keep it clean however the BBQ will not rust. The hotplate and grill are standard cast iron, so they are a part of the BBQ that may rust, we recommend these are kept clean and oiled.
There is the option to upgrade to a ceramic-coated cast iron cooktop. The ceramic coating on top of the cast iron provides protection against scraping, peeling etc, and will not rust even if the plates are not regularly cleaned or oiled  |
